Simplicity 9176

Here is my new go-to pattern for knit fabrics. I really love the fit and I like the puffy sleeves that I used from my Kwik Sew pattern.

I tested the Kwik Sew pattern first as a top on a leftover scrap of fabric and that turned out nicely as well (no pics). The textile is from Fabric Mart and it is really beautiful.

The Simplicity pattern suggests Crepe, Damask, Linen or Cotton be used, but I'm sticking
with knits for this!

Simplicity 9176

This pattern is really great for a basic dress with a long A-line skirt. I plan to use it again soon, but with puffy sleeves.

Just looking goofy. This dress is made from a scuba knit. I wanted to use this for my first version, just because the fabric was less expensive then the upcoming one.

Did a bias tape binding for the neckline and omitted the turtleneck.

 I would recommend this pattern!
